Serial LCD Controller – Hardware Description

The Serial LCD controller is powered by a PIC18F MCU. It provides UART and I2C communication to parallel LCD control. It supports multiple LCD configurations (1, 2, and 4 lines and up to 40 characters per line). The board provides the programming connector to the PIC, but it is recommended not to try and re-program the PIC with any third part firmware as this will cause the delivered firmware to be overwritten and cannot be recovered.
